The down turn in the mortgage and housing market will likely last through 2009. This shake out has impacted tens of thousands of realtors and mortgage brokers. Only the fittest and/or richest will survive. Foreclosures are at an all time high. On top of this troubled economy, it is no secret that the internet is forever altering how real estate deals are done. Buyers and sellers online are empowered as never before. The FSBO (for sale by owner) marketplace is no longer the step-child of the real estate industry. In fact, FSBO sites are a part of the solution to getting out of this mortgage and housing mess.
